Kaixin Shao

Kaixin is a PhD student in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Nottingham, Ningbo, China, since September 2022. His research focuses on nonlinear dynamics, vibration control, and power flow analysis, with a particular emphasis on the near-identical systems. His work includes both theoretical and experimental research.

Before pursuing his PhD, Kaixin obtained an MSc in Space Science from the University of Hong Kong in 2022, where he studied solving partial differential equations. Kaixin also holds a BEng (Hons) in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Nottingham, Ningbo, China.
