Xin Zhou

Xin joined the lab in 2021 (UNNC) as a PhD student working on the mechanical and vibration analysis of 3D printed sandwich regular and irregular lattice structure.

He obtained a master’s degree in advanced composites from the University of Bristol in 2020. He completed his MSc. thesis on the subject of Research on residual stress and distortion problem of metal composite hybrid automotive structures at UoB under the supervision of Dr. Byung Chul (Eric) Kim.

Xin’s research is focused on the modelling, compression, impact, bending and vibration of 3D printed sandwich regular and irregular lattice structure.
